Places to visit in Srinagar, Mughal Gardens, Shankaracharya Temple , Nishat Bagh Garden of Joy / Delight - a terraced Mughal garden built in 1633 on the banks of the famous Dal Lake, Shalimar Bagh Built in 1619 by the Mughal emperor Jehangir for his wife Noor Jahan and the Hazratbal Shrine a Muslim shrine in Srinagar. After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, the Valley of Shepherds, Enroute drive through the Saffron fields of Pampora and observe the beautiful countryside also visit Awantipura Ruins an 1100yrs. old temple built in the 09th century by King Avantivarman and dedicated to lord Vishu. Continue your drive to Pahalgam through the pine forests and Lidder River. Afternoon free for individual activities. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
